Mount Coot-Tha Forest is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, offering various walking, hiking, and cycling trails suitable for all fitness levels. The area boasts panoramic views of Brisbane from 287 meters above sea level. Trails can be steep and rocky, but are generally well signposted, with maps available. There are also free electric BBQ areas and clean facilities. The forest offers a serene environment with abundant wildlife, however, it can get crowded on weekends. There are several spots for picnics, and the view from the summit is a must-see. Despite its proximity to the city, the forest provides a peaceful getaway. Do note the area might get dusty during dry seasons, and some trails may be challenging to navigate. Overall, Mount Coot-Tha Forest is a highly recommended place for a day out in nature.
